Detail-design documentation for repairs of towers 2 x 400 kV of the DUNAJ type. The job comprised (1) the climb-up checks and static assessments needed to replace the phase conductors and (2) a proposal for a replacement of 5 crossbars on the existing towers (incl. the development of the related shop & assembly documentation).

ÚTS – V270 – Reconstruction of a 400 kV line

Preparation of planning materials and technical documents needed to conduct the EIA (the pre-designing stage) for a full-scope replacement of one 220 kV overhead line with two 400 kV lines within the currently used right-of-way exiting the Lískovec Substation – St. 202 to join a Slovakian SEPS comp. line extended towards the Považská Bystrica Substation (the overall length being 60.5 km).

V206 – Insulation renewal at line crossings of Category

Detailed documentation of replacing insulator suspensions at 33 towers 220 kV for new dual and semi-anchoring suspension sets. The job covered also a change in control of one anchoring section and the ensuing adjustment of anchoring suspensions.

V203 – Reconstruction of tower structures

Detailed documentation needed to replace the upper sections of 382 support steel towers of the PORTAL type, 220 kV. The job entailed designing and assessing a new latticed bridge (the superstructure); modifying or replacing all insulator suspensions affected by the work; and a new set of earthing cable attachments. While on the job, we 3D scanned portals in the switchgear substation to create a cloud of points, and exposed the foundations down to their base so that the cause of the structure leaning could be found and further development predicted.

Replacement of VHV lines V306/307/308 – Design documentation

Preparing detailed documentation and meeting legislative requirements for full-scope replacement of 2 x 110 kV lines V306/307/308 between Řeporyje, Chýně and Tuchlovice substations within their current right-of-ways. The job involved a comprehensive draft design of a new line, incl. its foundation parts; a new series of tower structures, the SOUDEK type, for the narrow-shank conductor 679-AL1/86-ST1A; and a new optical OPGW line.

Preparation of design documentation and repairs of steel structures in the Kladno ECK 110 kV substation

Preparing documentation needed (1) to operate the steel structures of the ECK 110 kV Kladno substation and (2) to mend faults identified through their detailed inspection (incl. their static assessment). The documentation was developed by 3D scanning made to obtain clouds of point.

V474 – Replacement of earthing cable with complex earthing cable

Detailed documentation needed to replace the earthing cable of the V474 line with a combined OPGW earthing cable having 96 optical fibers. The replacement affected the 400 kV line V474 along its entire route 42.88 km long, incl. 2 optical cables in stations.

V432 – Transmission Line Modernization

Detailed documentation needed to modernize the V432 line, 1 x 400 kV, so that its operational temperature can be raised up to +80 °C. The job encompassed (among other things) increasing the height of 12 towers of the KOČKA (or CAT) type and replacing 198 support insulator suspensions with shorter ones, particularly with the semi-anchored sets. The work covered also the preparation of documents required to obtain the Planning Permission.
